About

I’m Mathilde (22) from Norway. This is my blog, about some of the things I do and some of the things I think. I’m currently enjoying the joys of being a mother. My daughter Olivia was born September 2012.

Past: I have worked as an English teacher in Nanjing, China, teaching kindergarten and primary school level students. I have also studied Chinese at Nanjing University and HoHai University. Berfore that I went to an amazing school called Hald International Centre, through which  I got friends from all over the world and spent 6  months in China. For more details, www.hald.no.

Faith: I’m a Christian and my faith is very important to me. I believe that I was created by God Almighty. I believe that I’m, as a human, sinful in nature and this makes me unable to have a relationship with God. I believe that God became human and died for my sins because this was the only way to save me and restore the relation between me and God.

I want to live my life for His glory and I am forever thankful for everything He has given me.God loves me more that I can possibly imagine and the only thing I have to do to receive His love and mercy is to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.

I also love it when people ask me about my faith, so feel free!

    Mathilde,
I was looking for a Bible verse today and the Lord took me to your blog! What a joy it has been to read some of your posts and to see your faith!

The verse for which I was searching was Deauteronomy 33:25b: “And according to your days, so shall your strength be.”

I’ve just sent the verse to a family who recently adopted two children from China. Would you join me in praying for them today as they are in the midst of some difficult times. We know the Lord will supply all their needs because He loves them, has directed their paths, and He has riches in glory and good and perfect gifts to give them.

    Philippians 4:19, James 1:17

May the Lord bless you and keep you from evil!
